The drawing ceremony was taking place in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships today

Following the general weigh-in and medical check in the morning the official drawing was held in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in the Ebina House Hotel in Bangkok.
Altogether 120 boxers from 23 countries will be taking part for the medals in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships. India, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the nations which sent maximum number of 10 boxers to the event. Chinese Taipei, China, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea and Thailand have got also big and strong delegations in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships.
Uzbekistan’s Youth National Games winner Abdumalik Khalokov will be meeting Thailand’s Niwat Khitwanna in the first preliminary round of the flyweight (52kg) which could be an anticipated bout in Bangkok. Both boxers were born in 2000 and will be making their debuts in the youth level after their successful junior ages.
Philippines’ Children of Asia Games winner Criztian Pitt Laurente was named as the Best 2016 Asian Junior Boxer but he will have such a strong rival as opening, Kyrgyzstan’s Sanzhar Seidakmatov at the bantamweight (56kg). The Kyrgyz boxer is also a top athlete in the international level who achieved several medals in strong events.
