Kyrgyzstan will host the next national events in December

Kyrgyzstan will host its two important national events in the month of December closing the year with great boxing shows.
Their Elite National Championships will take place in the city of Manas at the Dzhalal-Abad region on December 5-10. The Kyrgyz Elite National Championships will be held for both genders and several of the previous youth boxers are planning to shine in Manas.
The Kyrgyz Youth National Championships is scheduled to be held in the capital city of Bishkek on December 16-21. Boxers who were born in 2008 and in 2009 will be eligible to participate in the next Kyrgyz Youth National Championships which is their first selection for the competitions in 2026.
Kyrgyzstan arranged two international competitions in the recent weeks, the Murataliev and the Sabatarov & Abdymomunov Tournaments. Both Kyrgyz international events saw boxers from the neighbouring countries and their level was absolutely impressive.
The Murataliev Memorial Tournament took place in the city of Talas between September 27 and October 2. Kyrgyzstan’s second international event was the annual Beyshembek Sabatarov and Aibek Abdymomunov Tournament in Karakol on October 14-19.
Altogether 17 females and 103 men elite boxers competed in the 2024 Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships in Bishkek. Such superb boxers as Anvarzhan Khodzhiyev, Zafarbek Kamilov, Sanzhai Seidakmatov, Ryspek Bektenov, Almaz Orozbekov, Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu, Erkin Adylbek Uulu and Myrzakir Koshaliyev were among the winners one year ago.
The total number of 14 female and 140 male boxers competed for the medals at the 2024 edition of the Kyrgyzstan Youth National Championships in Bishkek. Kyrgyzstan’s Junior World Champion Amantur Dzhumayev became the Best Boxer of the competition, Samagan Kochorbay Uulu is the Best Coach while Murat Kurmanov awarded the Best Referee & Judge trophy more than one year ago.
Several of the titleholders are planning to participate in the upcoming Kyrgyz Elite National Championships to defend their thrones.
