Pakistan arranged its Defense Day Boxing Tournament
Pakistan has several regional events in the country every year and their military events are always the highlights of the agenda. Their Defense Day Boxing Tournament
The Defense Day Boxing Tournament supported the army members to increase their number of bouts and ring experience.
The Defense Day Boxing Tournament took place with the support of the Baluchistan Boxing Association and with the supervision of the Pakistan Boxing Federation.
Pakistan’s efforts are impressive to develop all aspects of the sport and despite their difficulties, the country has more and more activities every year.
The Pakistan Defense Day Boxing Tournament was held under the patronage of Olympian Haider Ali Hazara Boxing Academy at Qayyum Changezi Stadium.
According to Mr. Haji Abdul Khaliq Mughal, the Boxer Media Coordinator, the special guest of the final matches was Mr. Jahangir Ahmed Lango.
He was accompanied by former chief coach of the Pakistan National Boxing Team, Mr. Majeed Brohi, former national boxer Mr. Sahar Gul, Mr. Samandar Khan, Mr. Obaid Khan and Mr. Gul Afghan.
In addition, former international boxer, Mr. Arif Hussain Hazara served as the referee and former South Asian Games silver medallist and multiple National Champion Mr. Mohib Bacha Khan supported the success of the event as a judge.
More than 120 pugilists competed in the exceptional Pakistan Defense Day Boxing Tournament in Baluchistan. Several of the schoolboy talents impressed in this regional competition and won their first ever tournaments.
Baluchistan’s busy city, Quetta also hosted the first international boxing tournament earlier this year with great success and the region is planning to introduce more events in 2026.
