Adilah and Alazizu dominated their finals at the Indonesian National Championships

Ahmad Ferly Adilah and Musa Alazizu dominated their youth finals at the Indonesian National Championships in Palu City.

The venue of the Indonesian National Championships was the promising Palu City in the island of Sulawesi. The Palu City is the capital of Central Sulawesi Province in Indonesia and it is located in the northwest coast of the island.

The Indonesian Boxing Federation celebrated its 66th anniversary end of this month and the competition is another great commitment from their new management. The new President of the Indonesian Boxing Federation, Mrs. Dr. Hillary Brigitta Lasut, S.H., LL.M. and the top officials all followed the bouts in the venue.

Gabriela Juniver claimed the first title in the women’s part of the Youth Nationals, she outpointed Afini Rahmatika at the minimumweight (48kg). Felisia Nabela Nur Cahyan also won her final contest unanimously and she bagged the title at the bantamweight (54kg).

Marsha Aurel Karepohan dominated the exchanges against Siti Alawiyah Boda and the referee stopped their light flyweight (50kg) final in the first round. Andi Muzahfirrah Tanri Pa had a similar final bout as Karepohan, she stopped Apriliana Dwi Kitani in the first round of their light welterweight (63kg) bout.

A minimumweight (48kg) talent. Ahmad Ferly Adilah not only achieved the first male title in the Youth National Championships but he delivered one of the best performances in Palu City. Derriell H. Wagiu had a more difficult mission in his flyweight (51kg) final but he found the best strategy against Abnu Zacky Tadji.

Musa Alazizu did not underestimate his final opponent at the bantamweight (54kg), Mohamed Rival and he knocked him out in the first round to take the gold medal. Natanel Warahuwena followed the instructions of his coaches and he defeated Axel Tamoty Raupa in the final of the featherweight (57kg).

Abdul Muntalib Razak was another boxer in the youth finals who shocked his opponent with heavy punches therefore he earned the lightweight (60kg) gold medal easily. Maluku’s experienced youth talent, Mohamad Marasabessy had a clear success over Adul at the light welterweight (63.5kg) final.

Fadel Alif Suryadi (67kg) and Akmal (75kg) won their final meetings only by split decisions while Dhevint Hosea Rayfhan Raw knocked out Steven Pabiof Timpu at the light middleweight (71kg) title bout.
