The Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament began in Kostanay

The new 25th edition of the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament began for the 17 and 18-year-old female and male talents in Kostanay, Kazakhstan with its first preliminary day.

Before the first preliminary contests, the local organizers arranged the amazing Grand Opening Ceremony with local dancers and other kind of attractions.

The promising Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament is a strong men’s youth international competition, which was named by Ural and Korgan Aitenov.

The city of Kostanay is located in the Northern part of Kazakhstan and hosted several strong boxing events in the recent more than one decade including national, international and regional competitions.

The head of the local organizers, Mrs. Svetlana Mahleyt will arrange all of the tournament programs, the support of the teams and other organizational matters as in the previous years.

Boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008, are eligible to participate in the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament in July.

Six female and 133 male youth boxers are participating in the Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament in Kostanay which has five competition days in Kazakhstan.

Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Russia, Syria and Uzbekistan are the participating countries in the 25th Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament in Kostanay.

The lightweight (60kg) is one of the busiest categories in Kostanay, eleven bouts featured in this division in the opening day of the tournament.

Astana’s 17-year-old talent, Darkhan Ussen has strong family traditions in our sport and he opened his campaign impressively against Ayan Asanov winning the hectic contest by split decision in Kostanay.

Kostanay’s Khalif Beketov, Medeu Yegembergenov, and Anton Khudyakov won their preliminary contests on Day1, delighting the local crowd.

The Syrians sent a very talented team to the Aitenov Brothers Tournament and among them Kenan Al-Salloum and their super heavyweight boxer, Ali Satoufalali both succeeded in the first competition day.
