ASBC wishes Happy Pentecost to the Boxing Family
The whole ASBC management wishes Happy Pentecost to all boxing officials, boxers, coaches, referees and judges, media members, National Federations, stakeholders and to the whole Asian Boxing Family.
All of the Christian communities including the Catholics, Protestants and Eastern Orthodox have been celebrating the holiday of Pentecost worldwide including Asia as well. Pentecost is a very important celebration in the Philippines and several other Asian countries in the Christian communities throughout the whole continent.
The Christian holiday of Pentecost is celebrated on the 49th and 50th days after the Easter Sunday and Monday to celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit. The two-day long holiday starts with Whitsunday or Whitsun and finishes next day with Whit Monday.
The Asian Boxing Confederation hosted a superb event, the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships with the Sri Lankans in Colombo last month and more activities will be coming soon.
