The ASBC Asian Youth Champion Amir Esmaeili subdued the super heavyweight at the Iranian Youth National Championships

The Iranian Youth National Championships was held in the city Oroumieh in West Azerbaijan Province where their new super heavyweight (+92kg) star, Amir Esmaeili Vandaei dominated his category.

The 2006 and 2007 born boxers were eligible to participate in the youth national event which supported their next generation of talents to increase their experiences.

Altogether 186 boxers from 33 teams competed for the medals in the Iranian Youth National Championships in Oroumieh were 28 referees and judges supported the success of the competition. The bantamweight (54kg) and the light welterweight (63.5kg) were the most popular categories with the participation of 20-20 boxers.

The Iranians proved excellent performance in the recent ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships in Astana where the country returned to the top of the podium.

Mehdi Kazemi had medal hopes in Kazakhstan’s capital following his impressive national results and he was able to remain on the top of the flyweight (51kg) in Oroumieh where he had a tight success over Mahyad Samadpour.

Hamid Reza Gouderzi represented a boxing family in the youth national event and he earned the title of the busy bantamweight (54kg). Reza Fazli Sani reached the quarter-finals at the recent ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships and the featherweight (57kg) boxer had the stamina to beat Ali Chehre Ghani in the final.

Aydin Karimzadeh was too strong for all of the opponents at the lightweight (60kg) including Hadi Inanlo as well. Seyed Ali Akbar Mirahmadi is member of the national team since 2021 and he competed in enough championships to beat a difficult opponent, Ehsan Pati Rasti at the light welterweight (63.5kg).

Sistan’s Ebadolrahman Dara claimed an unexpected silver medal at the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships in Astana last November but the 17-year-old talent lost his first preliminary bout to Sohail Nikzad at the middleweight (75kg). The new sensation Nikzad did not stop until the gold medal of the event and he defeated Mohammad Sadri as well.

Their fantastic super heavyweight (+92kg) boxer is Amir Esmaeili Vandaei claimed the title at the recent ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships in Astana with superiority. The 18-year-old Iranian stopped all of his opponent in the first round in the Youth National Championships once again.

The national competition was the selection event for them before the Youth World Boxing Championships
