Only 10 days left to the start of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Asian Boxing Confederation will deliver to you all details, results, photos and reports during the competition from Bangkok.
Altogether 160 boxers excluding the reserve athletes from 29 countries have registered to take part in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships. Yemen, Lebanon and Qatar will be sending boxers at the very first time in the history of the event while China, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are planning to send maximum number of 10 boxers to the competition.
The continental event will be held in July 1-7 with one rest day during the competition period and the LOC is ready to do memorable event in Thailand’s capital. Boxers who were born in 1999 and in 2000 are eligible to take part in the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be taking place in the Gymnasium 6 of the Thammasat University which was the venue also of the 2015 ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships two years ago. The capacity of the Gymnasium 6 of the Thammasat University is 4,000 seats.
