The Technical Meeting and the Official draw confirmed 352 boxers from 21 nations are attending at the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in Amman

The Technical Meeting and Official Draw of the new edition of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships confirmed that 352 boxers from 21 nations are attending in Amman, Jordan today.

The last edition of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships was held in Dubai on August 2021 and the number of the boxers did not exceed the 300 which means the new competition will be strongly bigger than in the UAE six months ago.

The Technical Delegate of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships Mrs. Karina Picson of the Philippines led the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw which ran smoothly in Jordan’s impressive capital city.

India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Yemen sent their best talents to the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships.

The first competition day of the new edition will be March 2 when 21 contests scheduled in the junior part of the continental event. The bout between Tajikistan’s Anushervon Temirov and Mongolia’s Mandakh Tsogbadrakh will open the first contest in Amman on March 2 at 4pm. The big powers of the competition as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Thailand, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Iran and Jordan will all make their debuts in the first competition day. The finals are scheduled to be held in March 13 and 14 after the rest in the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships. Impressive number of 51 female and male champions will be crowned in the competition, 26 junior boxers and 25 youth athletes. Boxers who were born in 2004 and in 2005 will be eligible to attend in the ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships. The younger talents from the 2006 and 2007 age groups can compete in the junior part of the championships in Jordan.
