The registrations for an important female training camp are open which will be taking place before the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi
New Delhi will be hosting the 10th edition of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships from November 13 until the 25. Before the competition Boxing Federation of India scheduled a training camp to acclimatize in the venue of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships between November 3 and 12.
The upcoming training camp is the perfect opportunity for the elite women boxers to make their final phase of the preparation in the venue of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships. Boxing Federation of India will be provided airport transfer from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and to the training venue as well.
The cost of the training camp in twin room is 80 USD per person including three meals per day and in single room the daily cost is 120 USD. The deadline to register the boxers for the Training Camp is October 20 for all National Federations.
New Delhi hosted the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in 2006 and after 12 years the competition will return to the Indian city. The Asian nations claimed six gold medals in the 2006 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi where their star five-time winner Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte also took a title.
