The ASBC Boxing Calendar for 2019 is revealed and five Asian Championships will be held this year

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba approved the official ASBC Boxing Calendar for 2019 which will be a busy year for our continent’s boxers.
The Asian Boxing Confederation will be organizing five continental events in the current year setting up a new record. All of the age groups and both genders will have the possibility to show their talents and skills in the ring this year to raise the international experiences of our hopes and future stars.
The first continental event in 2019 will be the ASBC Asian Confederation Elite Boxing Championships in Bangkok, Thailand this April. At the very first time in the history of the elite event both genders will be attending in the same time in Thailand’s capital which is scheduled to take place in April 17-27.
Asian Boxing Confederation is planning to build new grassroots for the youngest boxers and August will be the date of the first edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships. The negotiations are still under progress with the National Federations to host this historical event where boxers who were born in 2005 and in 2006 can box for the medals.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates in the first week of October for the 2003 and 2004 born boxers. The annual ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships for both genders and the 2001-2002 age groups will be held in Mongolia from November 9 until the 19th.
ASBC Asian Confederation U22 Boxing Championships will be closing the year in the month of December. The Best Asian National Federation of the Year 2018 the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation will be hosting the first edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation U22 Boxing Championships where boxers who were born between 1997 and 2000 are eligible to attend in this historical competition.
