AIBA WSB/APB R&J Seminar was held in Assisi

An important AIBA WSB/APB Referee & Judge Seminar was held in Assisi, Italy which was the first course in 2017. Mr. Ray Silvas of the Unites States and Mr. Pat Fiacco of Canada led the AIBA WSB/APB Referee & Judge Seminar in Assisi while AIBA Development Manager Mr. David Llaurado also were there in the venue in Italy.
Altogether 25 Referee & Judges attended in the AIBA WSB/APB Seminar in Assisi from all over the world. Among them six Asian Referee & Judges attended in the Seminar from five different countries such as China, India, Iran, South Korea and Uzbekistan which nations all have got great traditions in our combat sport.
The Asian referees & judges worked in all of the top international competitions in 2016 and they are ready to serve the world’s boxing life in 2017 as well. China’s Mr. Jingjing Zhang is an experienced 3-star R&J who had a lot of works in the world’s biggest events in 2016 and expecting to travel more in the current year. He delivered his best performance in the Astana 2016 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships and after he was named the Best Asian R&J in 2016 he attended in the AIBA WSB/APB Seminar in Assisi.
Iran had two applicants in the AIBA WSB/APB Seminar, experienced ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships R&J Mr. Babak Bordbar Haghighisabet and Mr. Farzad Sadeghpoor. India’s Mr. Engineer Farhad Kavasji worked in the last edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan and his career is in the best way to judge also in an Olympics. South Korea’s Mr. Jonghyo Ma and Uzbekistan’s Mr. Aleksandr Khamidov also attended in the AIBA WSB/APB R&J Seminar in Assisi.
